Everything we learned was well explained and practical. It gave me confidence that I could actually help in a challenging situation, but it did not give too much, or overcomplicate to where I feel I will forget it all in a hurry. Very practical and I believe I will retain the information well.
Despite having done it before, I still found ongoing benefit and enjoyed the challenge of the scenarios. The instructors are all fantastic. Professional and approachable.
The instructors used practical examples and tailored the training to our role needs. Instructors were very humble but highly knowledgeable and adjusted the pace to suit our learning needs. They also showed pragmatic improvised options for first aid, which is often overlooked as we don’t always have full first kits with us.
Abbey was excellent, the course was so engaging and practical. I have done three other first aid courses with different companies and Abbey’s was the best! Was awesome to focus on really practical stuff and not get bogged down in things.

Instructors diverse first aid work experiences and expertise and presentation skills. Loved the scenario training as a first aider to give me more practice and exposure to complex situations.
Enjoyed the course. Was unsure what to expect but having the real scenarios made it fun and gave us a little taste of what to expect in a real emergency/first aid situation. Gareth was an excellent instructor and was very knowledgeable with lots of experience. Good level of detail, not too complex but gave us the critical/key things we needed to know. The legal and ethical side of first aid was well covered and got our attention at the start.
Really well run course it covers everything you’d expect of a First Aid course and it even added in some great refresher skills and knowledge.

Scenario based training is excellent. Real world scenarios are what is required.
This is the most hands-on course I’ve done. The knowledge is amazing, and the teacher explains real-life events to make it more relevant and explains techniques!
